WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR IN A TATTOO APPRENTICE?
In order to become a successful tattoo artist, an apprenticeship is one of the first steps you must take to start your career. At The Tattoo Parlor Malaysia, we want someone who :
1. Has a passion is art, drawing and want to fulfill their lives by creating beautiful things.
2. Would never give up on trying and are open to new ideas, constructive criticisms and different ways of learning.
3. Who can work in a group and be inspired by other tattoo artists.
4. Who thinks that respecting themselves means doing their best work at all times.
5. Who are looking for a career in tattooing.
6. Has a strong art foundation, preferably proficient in photoshop, common sense, trust and respect.
HIGHLIGHTS
1. Learn the basics of all basics : cleanliness, sterilising, shop procedures, drawing skills.
2. Learn various techniques of tattooing starting with line work, black work, shading and colour packing.
3. Learn the differences between designing on paper vs the human body.
4. Learn to work with clients end to end : consultation, design process, idea presentation and tattooing on human skin.
5. Meet the best tattoo artists in the world during tattoo conventions and guest spots.
6. You'll be given every opportunity to become a professional tattoo artist.
