HOW DO I KNOW IF A TATTOO IS RIGHT FOR ME?
There is no right or wrong tattoo. We strongly encourage you to think hard about what you want because this is something that is going to be on your skin for life. Our opinion is that tattoos can be meaningful or it can simply exist for the purpose of looking good. Either will work as long as it works for you. The hard part is trying to come up with the design yourself so that is why we are here. Tell us what you like and let our artist do what they do best.
HOW DO I CHOOSE A TATTOO DESIGN?
For those who know what they want, this is easy. For others, it can be a longer process. Do some research, find and save the images that attracts you. Over time, you will find that these images usually have a similar thread be it subject or style or both. After your research, the best is to have a consultation with an artist. Working with your artist is one of the most important part of choosing a tattoo design.
The price of a piece is determined by subject, design, style, placement, colours, size, details and time taken to do the tattoo. Come in for a consultation to find out more accurately about the pricing. All quotes are an estimate and we reserve the right to change them if necessary.
HOW MUCH WILL MY TATTOO COST?
What about health and safety issues?
You can rest assured that your tattoo from The Tattoo Parlor Malaysia will be done with one-time use only equipment, sanitary conditions and practises that exceed government requirements. All of our supplies come from reputable manufactureres and we make sure they are used well before expiry dates.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY TATTOO SESSION?
We recommend that you wear loose and comfortable clothing to make sure that nothing will be rubbing against your fresh tattoo. Make sure you have plenty of time and don’t have to rush off to do something after your session. The artist will take whatever time is needed to bring your tattoo to life and you certainly don’t want to rush that process. Don’t drink a lot of alcohol (under 3 drinks is recommended) or take any medication that will thin out your blood 24 hours before your tattoo.
Keep your tattoo clean and moisturised at all times.
1. Take the wrapping off after 2 hours.
2. Gently wash the tattoo with warm water to remove all traces of blood, plasma or leaked ink.
3. Pat dry with soft paper towel.
4. When your tattoo starts to dry up (usually after 2-4 days), use aftercare.
Things NOT to do :
1. Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo.
2. Avoid soaking the tattoo in bath tubs, swimming pool or the sea.
3. Avoid direct sunlight and tight clothing.
4. If your tattoo is on a moving part of your body, it may take longer to heal. Avoid unnecessary workouts for at least 2 weeks.

The best answer is, your body will tell you. Your tattoo will be a part of your skin and you will no longer “feel” that it’s healing. If you are unsure, give it a few extra days before you resume all the activities you held off during healing.
Yes, most tattoos can be covered up with something new. We have done a lot of cover ups and it’s great to see clients ecstatic with their new pieces. That being said, every tattoo is different and we really need to see the piece before we can give a definitive answer. Don’t guess, give us a call or drop by the studio and we can discuss the possibilities.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO COVER UP AN OLD INK WITH SOMETHING NEW?
HOW DOES OUR DEPOSIT WORK?
Deposits are RM100 or 10% of the cost for your piece, whichever is more. This is to book your artist respective appointment dates and to start working on your design. All deposits are non-refundable. The deposit will go towards the cost of the tattoo and will be deducted from the final price of the piece as discussed at the booking.
Deposits can be banked in to TTPM Services : 888 102 973 4393 (Ambank Berhad) or walk in to pay via cash or credit / debit card.
